Why Buy Our Hydrangea Flowers?

Hydrangeas produced on the Oregon Coast are larger, deeper in color, and better quality than hydrangeas produced in warmer climates. Oregon Coastal Flowers produces the quality of hydrangea which will take your breath away. Simply look at our hydrangea fields on our gallery page to see what type of flowers you will be receiving.

More Hydrangeas in Hydrangea FieldWe are famous for our purple hydrangeas. These purple hydrangeas range in color from light lavender to deep violet in hydrangea color. Our best quality purple hydrangeas are produced from July through August. Blue hydrangeas are commonplace on the Oregon Coast, and we are no exception. Periwinkle blue hydrangea, light sky blue hydrangea flowers, and cobalt blue are all colors that we harvest from our hydrangea plants. We also offer white hydrangea, however, rarely are they pure white in color. Generally they have a blue cast to them. See our hydrangea color range page for a better explanation of hydrangea color ranges. We cannot guarantee a particular shade within a color range as shades vary throughout a production season. Late in the fall, we also product antique hydrangeas. This marbled mix of greens, burgundies, and purple on the same hydrangea bloom is to die for. These are so popular that we are unable to offer them online. Call us to check availability.
The average size of our hydrangea flowers are 6-8 inches in diameter, however, some hydrangea heads may be as small as 4 inches in diameter and some hydrangea heads as large as 16” in diameter. When we feel a hydrangea head is undersized, we will send you additional flowers to make up for this smaller size. This substitution is rare; however, it ensures that you will end up with the volume of flowers that you require. The average stem length is between 12-16” tall.
